WHAT I LOVED IN NOVEMBER

What-I-Loved-in-November

WHAT I’VE BEEN EATING:

Fourth & Heart Ghee: My obsession with Fourth & Heart Ghee is nothing new, but I know they have a $1.00 coupon on IBotta, so I figured it was a perfect time to share my love of this ghee! Fourth & Heart has 5 different flavors of ghee, and each one is amazing. Their Original ghee is great for all-around cooking, I love using their Himalayan Pink Salt ghee on toast and their Madagascar Vanilla in my morning coffee or tea!

Legit Bread Mix & Loaves: If you want to fully understand why I am SO excited about the launch of this paleo bread & baking mix, all you have to do is read this Instagram post. If you thought yeast and nut-free paleo bread couldn’t be delicious, you need to try Legit Bread ASAP.

Primal Kitchen Protein Bars: Primal Kitchen just released two new flavors of their protein bars and I’m obsessed. Both the Chocolate Hazelnut and Macadamia Sea Salt are AMAZING!

Primal Kitchen Ranch: Another new release from Primal Kitchen is their paleo Ranch. It’s hard to describe how delicious this ranch dressing is, it’s just one of those things you’re going to have to try for yourself. What I can say is that it miiiiight be my all-time favorite paleo dressing to date.

Pukka Tea: After giving up coffee a few months ago to refocus on my hormonal health, I’ve been pretty obsessed with tea, specifically Pukka. My favorite varieties right now are Detox and Relax, although there hasn’t been one that I haven’t loved.

Vital Proteins To-Go Packs: After discovering that Vital Proteins released single-serves at Expo East, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on them. I always travel with Vital Proteins so that I can add it to my morning coffee or tea, but traveling with a small container was always a bit of a drag. Now I can easily pack as many little packets as I want, throw them in my suitcase or purse and that’s it! I use both their marine collagen and regular collagen and try to mix it up to get the benefits of both!

Four Sigmatic Mushroom Elixirs: These may very well be my new favorite discovery. It’s no secret that I’ve been using Dandy Blend as my main substitute for coffee, but after trying Four Stigmatic’s Hot Chocolate and Chaga Elixirs, I am no doubt mixing up my morning routine. I blend these up with a bit of collagen, almond milk, and stevia for a delicious frothy cup full of nutrients and hormonal support!

WHAT I’VE BEEN READING:

The NEW Primal Blueprint: If it weren’t for stumbling upon Mark’s Daily Apple and his book, The Primal Blueprint nearly 7 years ago, I would have never become the person I am today. I wouldn’t have started a paleo diet, wouldn’t have started a blog, and likely wouldn’t be working in the natural products industry. It is safe to say that Mark’s book changed my life in more ways than I can even imagine. He has now released a new edition of the book which looks completely spectacular. If you are wanting to learn more about the paleo diet or simply want to support the man that arguably started it all, I highly recommend The New Primal Blueprint.

WHAT I’VE BEEN USING ON MY FACE:

Beautycounter Eyeliner: Beautycounter finally re-released their non-toxic eyeliner this past month and I bought one right away. Eyeliner was one of the only remaining types of makeup that I still had a conventional brand for. I purchased the brown because that’s what I’ve always liked and I’m really, really into it. Beautycounter has said they only have a limited amount of these, so I would advise purchasing now before they sell out!

Beautycounter Peppermint Lip Conditioner: I’m not one to get too excited about chapsticks and lip balms, but this Peppermint Lip Conditioner is an exception. Not only is it super moisturizing and smooth. but it’s also perfect for the holidays and would make a great stocking stuffer!

Beautycounter Nourishing Cream Exfoliator: After struggling with bad acne for so long, exfoliators were something I stayed far away from. Using a harsh exfoliant on sensitive, acne-ridden skin will always make the situation worse. However, after trying Beautycounter’s Nourishing Cream Exfoliator, I might be ready to bring exfoliating back into my life. This exfoliator is BY FAR the most soothing and nourishing I’ve ever used. It’s not at all gritty and I can feel how nourishing it is on my skin.

Beautycounter Winter Warmth Palette: Another new product from Beautycounter, this Winter Warmth Palette is so amazing for contouring, highlighting and is the perfect holiday eyeshadow. Why buy a ton of different products when this gives you everything in one?!
