Hi everyone, happy August! I’m super excited to start a this new series on my blog, highlighting everything I loved form the previous month. Although I normally share a lot of what I’m into on any given day on my social media channels, I wanted to be able to summarize everything on my blog too! So, without further ado, here is What I Loved in July!

What I’ve been eating and drinking:

Chameleon Cold Brew: Although I normally stick to decaf in the morning, I have been loving having an iced Chameleon Cold Brew (from concentrate) in the afternoon a few times per week. This coffee is not just delicious, but it’s also amazingly smooth and doesn’t give me any negative caffeine symptoms like shaking or anxiety. I enjoy it with my absolute favorite dairy-free creamer, nutpods. (More on those below!)

Maple Sea Salt RXBARs: It’s no secret that I love RXBARs, but their new flavor took my obsession to an entirely different level. I highly recommend trying this flavor if you haven’t already, it might change your life.

Primal Palate Taco, Seafood & Steak Seasoning: These organic, non-gmo, gluten-free, non-irradiated and Whole30 approved spices are the best spices on the market. This past month they launched three new varieties and I am already obsessed with all of them!

nutpods: After enjoying nutpods in my morning coffee every day during my Whole30, they remained a staple in our kitchen long after the 30 days was over. I’ve never encountered a better dairy-free creamer and the fact that they’re Whole3o approved really sweetens the deal. There’s something about how good they taste and how creamy they are that even my husband who put sugar in his coffee every single morning says he doesn’t need it anymore now that he’s using nutpods. So, just to summarize, this insane dairy-free creamer has replaced both half & half AND sugar in my husband’s coffee. What more needs to be said? 🙂

Rootz Paleo Protein Powder: Finding a dairy-free protein powder is certainly challenging. They often taste chalky or overly processed. However, this past month I discovered Rootz and I can officially say they have nailed the dairy-free paleo protein game. What I’ve been using on my skin:

ICYMI, I posted the final chapter in my health journey, which you can read here. I dive into my 5 year struggle and what I did to address the issue and heal my acne over the past 12 months. The products below are mentioned throughout my posts and videos, but I wanted to highlight some of my new discoveries here!

doTERRA Geranium Essential Oil: This is a new addition to my skincare routine. I add this to a little bit of Rose Water and apply it to my face as a toner. Geranium is not only amazing for your skin, but it also smells divine and makes my face feel great!

Beautycounter Charcoal Mask: I’ve only been using this mask for a couple weeks, but it is already a huge part of my skincare routine. Not only do a use it as a mask a few times per week, but it’s also become my favorite spot treatment. All Beautycounter products are 100% natural and this mask is no exception.

Beautycounter Concealer: I’ve been on the hunt for an all natural concealer that could replace my drug-store (and toxic) concealer. The Beautycounter Touchup Skin Concealer pen has come to the rescue. I actually have this in two colors, Light and Fair. I use Fair as a highlighter and Light to cover up imperfections.

Beautycounter Charcoal Cleansing Bar: For those of you that watched my Topical Skincare Routine video, you know that I am not a huge fan of washing my face. This Charcoal Cleansing Bar has become an exception to that rule because it’s so nourishing and great at drawing out impurities.

Beautycounter Sunscreen: Up until discovering this sunscreen, I pretty much avoided sunscreen as much as possible. I would much rather just avoid the sun for long periods of time than slather my skin with toxic greasy sunscreen. Even the natural stuff felt so oily to me. This all-over sunscreen and stick sunscreen for your face are not only 100% natural, but they’re also super light and you can barely tell you’re wearing anything!
