Happy Taco Tuesday everyone! š I am completely obsessed with this avocado aioli recipe⦠at first, I created it specifically for my Halibut Fish Tacos (which Iāll be enjoying tonight!) but recently, Iāve been making it go with a variety of dishes from salads, to sandwiches and chili.
Aioli, for those of you that donāt know, is a mayo-based sauce that normally has the addition of fresh garlic. However, roasted peppers, hot peppers and other fresh ingredients are also common additions. A lot of store-bought aiolis not only uses a base of highly processed mayo, often made with vegetable oil, but even the flavorings tend to be listed as ānatural flavorsā or āartificial flavorsā instead of addition real, fresh ingredients. If you make mayo at home or buy a high-quality mayo like the one from Primal Kitchen Foods, creating homemade aioli is a breeze!
This Dairy Free Avocado Aioli is delicious, creamy, packed with nutrients and makes a great topping for just about anything.
