5 Minute Paleo Plantains
  • 3 plantains, fully ripened with brown spots
  • 2 tablespoons ghee
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt, to taste
  1. Peel and slice the plantains to create ½ inch slices on the diagonal.
  2. Heat a cast iron skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of ghee.
  3. Add half of the plantains into the pan and sprinkle half of the allspice and salt on top.
  4. Flip after about 2-3 minutes or when the bottoms begin to brown.
  5. Cook the remaining side and remove from pan.
  6. Add remaining tablespoon of ghee and cook the second batch.
